Kim & Carlos get married in a magical place called Mina de Guadalupe, in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico. Their wedding was full of really good moments full of joy and excitement but Carlos made a lot of surprises during their wedding day to Kim. From the beginning he stunned Kim with a mariachi outside their hotel, a bouquet and a lovely note hand written.
Carlos has an amazing and unique way to show love, first of all to Kim and also for his family and friends, you can tell by how they treat themselves, the love and care they have to each other. In every second during their wedding day, Carlos was always showing up his true self, and Kim was always very excited, enjoying and with every gesture she made, you can see how happy she was during this day.
From one of their trips to Mexico before their big day, the took a cuisine class in Oaxaca which one they loved it, so as soon as they were planning their wedding they asked who gave the class to be their chef for this special day. So for dinner everything came from the south of the country, directly to Mina de Guadalupe, and yes; everything tasted AMAZING!
Family & friends flew mainly from the United States and Mexico as well, to enjoy and celebrate their union at Guanajuato, where Mina de Guadalupe the spectacular venue, spotted the magical scenery for this big day. This could not be happen without the coordination and planning by the amazing duo Lovely Planners. Their ceremony took place in the heart of Guanajuato at the church – Basílica Colegiata de Nuestra Señora de Guanajuato – located at downtown area, literally couple next doors of their new luxury hotel Nueve25 we just walked to it.

Guanajuato is a central Mexican state known as the birthplace of the country’s independence. Its namesake capital is home to the Alhóndiga de Granaditas granary, where the first battle with 19th-century Spain was fought. The former mining town is also famous for its hilly, cobbled alleys lined with colonial architecture and picturesque garden plazas like the Jardín de La Unión.

After their ceremony family and friends enjoyed with them, a -callejoneada- lead by a musical traditional alley-walking route with guides, showcasing folk costumes, songs & stories. Followed by a couple of big heads, costumed as Kim & Carlos and… a donkey! Loved it! Too many Mexican traditions on this day.
The surprises as I said made the day from Carlos to Kim, one of the main attractions during dinner, a little furry cow cub which light up the night, followed by a mariachi band who made companion to an incredible set of fireworks, the tacos came in and filled up our bellies such as the esquites, and by the end of the night a BANDA set the tone for the couples to made it to the dance floor, one more time.
The shots came in and the last kiss from Kim & Carlos tied and sealed the night at Mina de Guadalupe!
ENJOY THEIR DAY by seeing their story!
Thank you very much Kim & Carlos for choose Mexico for your wedding day, and pick its traditions to brighten up and styled your dream day. And again, for believed and trust in my vision to capture, this day for you. It was such a true honor to met you and be present for this big chapter of your lives. I really enjoyed it!
