Every frame is intentional — rooted in emotion, shaped with grace, and finished with quiet sophistication. With an editorial sensibility and an instinct for honest beauty, your story unfolds naturally, artfully, and always with heart.
From first contact to final delivery, the experience is seamless and deeply personal. You'll be seen with clarity, guided with care, and remembered through imagery that feels both timeless and intimately yours.
I’m drawn to raw laughter, honest glances, and the quiet magic of fleeting moments. My work is for those who value presence over perfection—who want their story told with intention, depth, and heart.
"Simply put, Mauricio is the best! He partnered with us on our destination wedding and quickly built rapport, and more importantly a genuine friendship, with my wife and I.
We had seen his online portfolio and after a brief meeting we knew he was the guy. He was extremely responsive whenever we had a question or concern, and was a calming and easy-going voice when we were stressed.
Come the wedding itself he was great not only with us but our entire wedding party, giving him the distinct ability to get the candid photos we were hoping for. After receiving our edited photos we couldn’t have been happier. I cannot recommend Mauricio enough."

"Mauricio is truly a remarkable human, professional, and photographer. He made our wedding in Puerto Vallarta magical—capturing moments in the most wondrous of light and settings.
He truly understood my partner and me, and what we wanted. The photos were beautiful and magical, capturing our laughs, happiness, and joy with each pixel.
If you go with Mauricio, you won’t regret it. You’ll gain a new friend who helps you frame memories for decades to come.”

Cannot recommend enough!
Mauricio was recommended to us when we were looking for a photographer for our wedding in Punta Mita and it was one of the best decisions we could have made.
He was super professional and easy to work with, and has a great eye. We had a busy wedding day with very narrow windows to take photos but he stayed nimble and flexible so we could snap photos whenever we got the opportunity. He also was really communicative with our wedding coordinator so he always seemed to know what was going on and where he should be. He also has a really calming and fun demeanor so we felt totally comfortable with him, which I think really came through in our photos. He took both film and digital photos for us and turned them around in a really reasonable time frame, given how many photos we got. His photos came out beautifully and I feel super lucky that we have the photos that Mauricio took to look back on from our wedding.

Mauricio was the perfect person to capture our wedding celebrations! He was kind, patient and personable—we spent quite some time sharing our vision for the day and he got beautiful shots of the energy and love that surrounded us.
10/10 recommend him to any couple getting married in Mexico!!

My approach is intuitive, emotional, and quietly observant.
Always guided by human connection and timeless beauty.
I’m drawn to what’s unrepeatable: glances, gestures, shifting light.
Whether capturing moments digitally or developing film by hand, it’s never just about how it looked—but how it felt.
My approach is intuitive, emotional, and quietly observant—rooted in human connection and timeless beauty.
Whether I’m shooting on digital or developing film by hand in the darkroom, I’m drawn to the unrepeatable: gestures, glances, light as it moves. I believe photography is not just about how it looked—but how it felt.
